Helps protect your dog against parasites
We don’t use any harsh chemicals in our spray, only soothing witch hazel, deionised water, vegetable glycerin and these specially selected essential oils:
Lavender
Rose geranium
Peppermint
Clove bud
Calendula
Clary sage
Cedarwood atlaShake well before use, if spraying multiple dogs, ensure you shake bottle before each application. Spray liberally all over your dog’s coat at the start of every walk. Pay particular attention to the chest and belly as many parasites hitch a lift on these areas when in long grass etc.
Avoid contact with eyes/nose/mouth. If you want to protect the head and face, apply spray to a gloved hand and wipe on.
Ticked Off can be reapplied as necessary, e.g. if coat becomes wet, or if walking in vegetated areas for extended periods, the frequency of reapplication depends on coat type, how tick infested area is, weather etc

Ticks dislike the smell of the essential oils in our blend, it can also help to disrupt the tick's senses as scent is one of the ways they find hosts.
They also use a special organ, called Haller's organ, to detect body heat from a distance of up to 4 metres.
Because they also use body heat to detect hosts, they may still climb onto your dog's coat, even when treated with Ticked Off. However, once there, they can detect the essential oils and generally stay on the top of the coat, rather than biting (sometimes they even jump back off!). This makes it easy to spot and remove them.
The number of ticks that may climb onto the dog will be dependent on various factors, such as the type of coat (large, fluffy coats are easier for them to get a hold of), how tick infested the area is, how the dog moves through vegetation etc. In order to ensure Ticked Off is working effectively:
Shake well before use, when treating multiple dogs, shake before each application.
Liberally spray entire coat at the very start of a walk.
Reapply when necessary (if coat becomes wet, if walking for longer periods etc)
